Audio in AV OVER IP

AV OVER IP is one of the most popular audio and video solutions. The advantage of the distributed audio and video system lies in its unlimited bandwidth, decentralized architecture, network, offset, high stability, high scalability and other characteristics, which makes it more adaptable to the continuous changes and development of this era, so it can It has advantages when applied in many fields.

Distributed audio and video system wiring is relatively simple, while traditional audio and video systems have more equipment, brand models are not uniform, and the interface between each device is very different. In the early stage of system design, the data interface of each device must be considered in detail, and then the wiring Each equipment in the stage needs to be clothed with multiple wires, which is not only a waste of time, but also greatly increases the cost. However, because the distributed system adopts a fully networked design, each equipment room only needs to be connected to the switch with a network cable. Both the design and the wiring are extremely simple, which greatly reduces the cost.

Distributed audio and video systems are easy to expand. Each multimedia device is independent and closely connected to each other. Each device exists independently in the system and does not affect other devices. They are indirectly connected through a switch through distributed The computing unit allocates its IP address for data exchange and is closely connected. In the conference room application field, because in the conference room design, we will reserve the network port in the table or ground plug in the conference room, so when you need to add input or output interface machines, you only need to connect the equipment to the switch of the distributed system through the network. That's it for easy expansion.

Audio, like video, exists in the AV OVER IP project in the form of codec. iSEMC NP Lite supports AAC/G711A format audio transmission and is compatible with most audio equipment.

So what are the advantages of distributed audio?

  1. Large-scale distributed audio and video system.

The distributed audio and video system supports a large number of input and output signals and massive signal management, which requires the processor to have a large enough bandwidth, and the traditional processor has limited bandwidth. Unlimited bandwidth of network distributed controller.

  1. Expansion of distributed audio and video system.

Distributed audio and video systems are likely to be upgraded, expanded in scale, or need to be connected to other systems in the future. The network distributed controller can be easily implemented without replacing hardware, which greatly reduces costs and no waste. , And traditional processors almost all have to replace the hardware, which is costly.

  1. Multi-screen management of distributed audio and video system.

The entire distributed audio and video system needs to manage multiple sets of large screens, multiple sets of screens in a building, and multiple sets of screens in different places. It needs to realize signal sharing and multi-screen linkage control. The network distributed controller is easy to handle.

  1. Cloud touch control for distributed audio and video systems.

Standard TCP/IP network format, data can be flexibly connected to smart terminals such as computers, IPADs, mobile phones, etc., and it is simple and convenient to preview and control the large screen anytime and anywhere.

  1. Simple wiring of distributed audio and video system.

The distributed audio and video system uses six types of network cable transmission, long-distance lossless signal acquisition and transmission, signal end-to-end transmission can reach more than 100 meters, and fiber optic transmission can reach farther. The network wiring makes the construction simple and the cost is reduced.

The characteristics of the distributed audio and video system are relatively clear. It is a new generation of central control system. It is more handy in many fields, such as public security, government, military, enterprises, factories and other fields. Generally, there are these requirements. Choose distributed Processors can better adapt to future development trends, and distributed applications will become more and more widespread.

How to build a remote network video wall system?

The remote network video wall will be an important development in the audio and video industry, such as remote smart security control room, remote command and dispatch center, remote conference and so on. A global epidemic broke out in 2020. The prevention and control expert teams of various countries will immediately rush to the most dangerous scenes to set up a command and dispatch center based on the video wall control room to command and dispatch the epidemic prevention and control work. The spirit of the experts is worthy of admiration, but at the same time the experts are at risk of being infected.

  1. So is there a video wall control room solution that allows experts to conduct command and dispatch under the premise of ensuring health?

The remote command and dispatch center is the first choice. This system allows a team of experts to observe the situation of the epidemic area in real time through the audio and video signals transmitted over the network in an absolutely safe area, and issue command and dispatch orders, thereby realizing the command and prevention and control of the epidemic.

  1. So how to build a remote video wall system?

AV OVER IP has become the key to the remote network video wall system. Both input nodes and output nodes can be connected through the Internet. Although each node is located in a different city or region, they communicate through the powerful Internet, so that people in different cities can observe all the conditions in real time.

Not only limited to two cities, the remote network command and dispatch center where the expert team is located can simultaneously monitor the status and data of cities in multiple regions of the country, and make real-time command and dispatch work, so as to achieve rapid prevention and control work and effectively avoid the risk of infection of the expert team is reduced, and the excellent expert team can be used for multi-city scheduling control, which improves work efficiency.

In addition to remote network command and dispatch centers, remote conferences or remote CCTV projects can also use similar equipment to achieve different solutions.

Imagine that the same company has offices in different cities, and communication difficulties are an important factor in the slow progress of the company. Generally, each employee needs to install remote meeting software on their own computers, and join this network meeting in advance to communicate before the meeting starts. Discussions among colleagues can only exist on PC software. The limited screen size limits thinking and limits the effectiveness of discussions. Then it is necessary to establish a remote conference room based on AV OVER IP.

Offices in each city can install the AV OVER IP video wall system in the meeting room, which not only retains the face-to-face discussion mechanism of traditional meetings, but also adds a video wall meeting system. The open screen display can expand thinking and brainstorm, so that the company makes quick decisions and stands out in the market.

Two video wall solutions for intelligent control rooms

With the development of science and technology, more and more intelligent control devices are gradually integrated into people's lives. Many application devices need to be controlled. How to effectively manage these electronic devices is a headache for users. If the traditional management method is adopted, the system needs to be changed gradually, which will consume a lot of manpower for a single device. With the popularization of the network, the video wall system based on the integrated intelligent control of the network has gradually attracted people's attention.

Intelligent control system, the administrator only needs to touch the screen (iPad, mobile phone, etc.), and can control the startup, shutdown, working mode of the corresponding equipment and other operations at any corner at any place with one button, and can also set different equipment and time Different switching sequence of points. This can save manpower and material resources, and save energy.

There are usually two solutions for intelligently controlled video wall systems, so what is the difference between them?

  1. Centralized Controller + Third-party Central Control Equipment

The traditional centralized controller can meet the video wall and all audio and video needs, but usually the centralized controller does not support the control of third-party smart devices, so usually the solution of integrators is to send the corresponding control command through the PC, and then forward the command from the controller to the third-party central control device through the RS232 interface. The third-party central control device integrates all commands and distributes them to different smart devices, thus realizing the integration of audio and video + smart device control.

  1. AV OVER IP

The AV OVER IP, which has been popular in the audio and video industry in the past two years, has been well received. Its strong scalability and flexibility in video wall projects are difficult to achieve with traditional centralized controllers. Due to its distributed architecture, AV OVER IP will Rapid development in the intelligent control industry. Compared with the solution of traditional centralized controller with central control equipment, each node of AV OVER IP can be used as a device to send control commands, which greatly enhances its scalability and helps users save the cost of central control equipment.

The advantages of AV OVER IP equipment in the intelligent control industry:

---With strong scalability, there will be no restrictions on the number of audio and video nodes or smart devices

---Easy to maintain, distributed architecture

---Reduce system complexity, no need for central control equipment to save costs

---Unlimited transmission distance, audio and video equipment and intelligent control equipment can be connected through the network.

Sports bar/music bar video wall solution

With the development of society, people's demand for sports is also increasing. Sports is no longer the patent of a few people, nor is it a product that is only good for health. With the growing development of the sports industry, sports has become a special entertainment consumer product. In order to meet people's increasing demand for sports consumption, more and more people are specialized in the production and operation of sports service products. The video wall business of sports bars (music bars) will also see great growth.

video_wall_solution

More and more people like to watch sports events with friends in bars. On March 30, 2020, the International Olympic Committee, the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee, and the Japanese government jointly announced that the 2020 Tokyo Olympics will run from July 23 to July 23, 2021,Held on August 8, including the 2022 Qatar Football World Cup, an annual NBA game, and so on.

So how to build a complete video wall system in a sports bar (music bar)?

  1. The Sizeof the bar

Imagine that if your bar is large but the screen displayed is small, it is likely that users who are sitting far away from the screen cannot see the contents of the screen clearly, and the experience will be greatly reduced. If your bar area is small, but the display screen is large, then the audience may cause visual fatigue. So a reasonable screen area is very important. Usually in areas less than 30 square meters, we would recommend customers to use 2X2 55inch LCD video walls, and in areas greater than 30 square meters, we would use 3X3 or larger.

  1. How many Groupof screens will a bar have?

Usually, a bar will have multiple rooms or areas, providing different sports events for different users. Because there may be multiple games at the same time, for example, room A is playing Spain vs. Brazil, room B is playing Italy vs. England, or room A is playing NBA, and room B is playing football games. Video wall processors usually have limitations on the number of screen groups that can be managed, so you need to be sure.

  1. Typeof display

For different rooms or areas, there are usually different display devices, such as LED, LCD and projector. Different video wall controllers will be good at different display devices. It is difficult to be compatible with everything like the iSEMC video wall controller VK-S. If you have multiple sets of different types of monitors, then we will recommend customers to choose VK-S.

How to get a cheaper video wall Controller

With the progress of the times, the audio and video industry is gradually developing, especially in the field of video walls. With the development of the big data industry, more and more control rooms are established, and people hope to observe real-time dynamic data through video walls.

When users buy video wall controllers, they usually only tell the dealer how many output interfaces or input interfaces they have, including the type of interface, and the dealer will provide you with a variety of solutions according to your needs. So which solution is best for you? Which solution is the most cost-effective?

Video wall controller type

There are currently three mainstream video wall controllers.
-AV OVER IP (IP BASE)

-Centralized Controller(FPGA BASE

-Video Matrix

AV OVER IP devices are divided into input nodes and output nodes, which are respectively connected to the input source and display terminal. All node devices only need to communicate under the same network environment, not only LAN, all nodes can also be connected through public IP, which means that there is no distance limit for AV OVER IP. So if your control rooms are distributed in different cities, and the display data between them needs to be shared, then AV OVER IP equipment will be your first choice, but the price is relatively expensive.

Centralized Controller, you can imagine it is to install all the input and output nodes of AV OVER IP into an industrial chassis. Different from the distributed design, the number of channels in a chassis is limited. If your project is likely to be expanded later, it is still recommended that you choose a chassis with a larger capacity in advance. And because of the limitation of input and output distance in centralized type, usually the distance between input and output from the controller cannot exceed 100M. Its price is relatively moderate.

Video Matrix is also a centralized chassis design, so the above-mentioned limitation of distance and channel number also exists. And the biggest difference between the video matrix and the controller is that the video matrix cannot open windows, roaming, zooming, stretch, etc. The responsibility of the video matrix is more like establishing a mapping relationship between the signal source and the video wall. For example, if there is a 2x2 video wall, then I can map the signal to any LCD, but I cannot move the signal source window freely through the visualization software, and I cannot reduce the signal source window, that is, the video matrix It is not possible to display multiple signal sources on a single monitor. But if you think the simple mapping function can meet your needs, then I think the video matrix is your first choice because it is the cheapest.

It is especially important to analyze your needs reasonably and then decide the type of controller.
